The grades used for the 2011 Summer Cups are the 2010 ECF Standard grades for the Chapman and Birstall Cups, and the January 2011 ECF Rapid grades (except where the Rapid grade is category E and the Standard grade is category A–D) for the Harrod and Wylie Cups.

Ungraded players must be allocated a provisional grade by grading officer Brian Foreman before playing.
